The Futility Of Existence

The mutations, still fatal
My third eye is bleeding profusely
The future, a grim construct
My fingertips piqued by its sludge
A bleak vision, the end
No cliche, longing for distance
So vicious, devouring
Nihilistic spawn of lifeless dreams

Blackness engulfs this soon void earth
Limitations of this celestial body
Torn into halves, my mind fragmented
Damned limitations of this terrestrial body

Neither cross, nor amassed knowledge
Saved, foretold, prepared
Philosophy, morality, all void
A blot of ink soon erased
All flawed, the end will soon transpire

Eyes shut, yet wide awake
A miasma of things to come

Nameless, shameless, an entity so endless
Voracious and amorphous
All will become
Destroyer of worlds, we haven't been the first
An endless hunger plagues
Our blackened sky

The bane of existence
Shattering its futility
Forever without face and shape
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image
For He is not jealous, yet impossible

I plead guilty of humanity
And look forward to my sentence
Extinguished, all stars
The sight induces void in us
